尼尔·盖曼 《Fragile Things》（易碎品）点评（1）

Neil Gaiman Fragile things 里几个小短篇

　　说起来，其实不算看过这本书，只是零散地、陆陆续续地看过Fragile Things里的几篇小故事而已了，看着amazon上评价，以及我看到的几篇来看，确实不能算是尼尔·盖曼的经典故事。
　　
（1）序言。这本书的序言写的非常好。我甚至觉得比看到的几个故事都要好的多——幽默、风趣、机智。简单的序言让NG写的很有看头

（2）《绿字的研究》（A Study in Emerald）自然不必说，算是这个集子的顶梁柱，很有名的一篇。连汉语版也是很早以前就有了。是否也算同人小说呢？

（7）The Flints of Memory Lane也算是一篇鬼故事，说“算是”，因为实在有点牵强。这篇不算是个好故事。连盖曼自己都说，他希望事情都是story-like,但是很多真实的生 活却不像故事那样——当然我觉得他这么说是想误导读者以为这是件真实的事情，很多讲鬼故事的人都说那是真的，当然我并不确定这是真是假。故事很简单，盖曼 住在一个大屋里，邻居说这里闹鬼，他说没觉得，结果有一天晚上在门口碰到一个诡异的让他害怕的吉普赛女人。完了。

（8）《打烊时间》（Closing Time）鲤（梨香）mm翻译过，是篇还算不错的鬼故事，最恐怖的部分并没有直接描绘，而是靠读者的想象力。在豆瓣双峰驼小组里有：http://www.douban.com/group/topic/1221610/。
　　
（28）How to Talk to Girls at Parties，因为这个还有意思一点。半官方的介绍是Two teenage boys crash a party and meet the girls of their dreams——and nightmares . . .两个在boy school长大的男孩Enn（“我”）和Vic，“我”很腼腆，不知道该怎么和女孩子说话，Vic劝他要敢和她们说话，“她们只是女孩”“她们又不是从 另一个星球来的。” 可惜不幸的是，Vic猜错了。他们走错地方，加入另一个party，然后发现，这些女孩真的是另一个星球来的……
　　
　　这两篇都有一点点《打烊时间》的味道，（说实话Fling那篇还不如打烊时间）。恐怖的部分依赖读者的想象力。我觉得让读者有收获的就是：第 一个对年轻男孩有一定的“教育”色彩；第二个，我猜那个大房子的部分是真的，他说小时候住过这样的大房子，房子太大他们家住不下，只住了一部分，其他部分 有别人家的人——多熟悉，不就是卡罗兰的家么。原来如此，呵呵。

　　有人评价说这本集子不如Smoke and Mirrors，两本我都没怎么看过，不好说。但是我记得那一本里Snow, Glass, Apples，是篇不错的故事，和《绿字的研究》同属改编（恶搞）型小说，看得出来作者的灵气。
